Sidebar

The Sidebar, on the left-hand side of every page in Client Portal, is a menu you can use to view your accounts and access the app’s other pages. You can expand and collapse the Sidebar using the toggle button next to the top right-hand side of the Sidebar.

The Sidebar consists of the following.

  • User ID and user options

  • Accounts and account groups

  • Documents page

Sidebar items only appear if your organization has subscribed to the associated service.

The content of your Sidebar adapts to reflect your current page. To learn more, visit our articles on the main areas of the application:

  • Portfolio Workspace

  • Documents

  • User Profile


At the top of the Sidebar is your user ID. Your user ID includes your full name and display picture.  

Your user ID also features the user options menu. To access the menu simply click the arrow next to your name. This opens a drop-down menu with the following options:

  • Sign out – exit the Client Portal app.

  • User Profile – open your User Profile page to change your user settings and personal information.

  • Help & Feedback – open the Help page, which includes your Advisor’s support email address and phone number.

  • Start Guide – open the in-app Welcome page highlighting many of Client Portal’s features.

  • Terms & Policies – view and download the application's terms of use.
