Regular publishing documents

As an advisor, the Published Documents page and document category pages allow you to publish documents, so you can instantly share a document containing any type of file with any investors you choose.

To publish a document:

  • Select the Publish Document button in the title bar and open the Publish File modal

  • Enter a name for the document in the designated area

  • Select the paperclip button to select and upload a file from your drive

  • Select any document category tags for your publishing job (optional)

  • Select any reporting period tags for your publishing job (optional)

  • Enter a description for the document in the designated area (optional)

  • Enter a user’s name/email under Publish to and select their name or click the All Investors button to publish this document to all investors 

    • You can switch between individual users or user sets by clicking the appropriate tabs in the drop-down menu. 

  • To make a publication mandatory, click the checkmark next to the Mandatory document

    • Default notification settings for investors are displayed in the modal for reference

  • Select Publish.

Aside from publishing a regular document, you can create a mass publication on the Mass Publishing page (accessed through the Publishing service’s sidebar). Despite being published on a separate page, mass publications appear on your Published Documents page with a MASS tag so they can be easily identified and reviewed.
